Abstract

This article addresses the dialectic and complex cultural syncretism process in Mexico. This paper will depart from the premise that every cultural manifestation results from transformations and creative adaptations each society carries out to address problems or situations inherent to its context. The relevance of this theme lies in the need to unlock access routes to understanding diverse cultural phenomena that occur in Mexico, such as the Day of the Dead, patron saint festivities), the pilgrimage to the basilica of Guadalupe), among others manifestations that combine religion, indigenous worldviews, forms of the economic and social organization of communities.

All these cultural phenomena show the great mosaic of traditions and customs in Mexico, which are the result of history and the transformation of each community within this country.
