Abstract

Corporate finance maximizes the monetary resources of companies —based on the analysis of decision-making tools— and minimizes the risk that the decision is not the correct one, which would compromise the organization's assets. For this reason, several types of decisions can be made, as in the case of an investment project in which the company seeks to generate a profit and see if the project is viable and profitable before investing in it. Corporate finance assumes that role in the finance branch. Today it is widely known and accepted by great managers and financial directors that accounting and financial analysis are essential to diagnose the current situation and project the future of the business in the medium and long term.
