Abstract

Rethinking or mentalizing death opens a creative space to demystify it, integrating it to the natural course of life. Life is dignified and death is given power to acquire representation through authors such as Freud, Dufourmantelle, Green, Winnicott, Bion and De Masi among others. The possibility of transforming it intersubjectively, parting from its negative quality, its missing presence is enlightened as a way to deal with death’s ambiguity, fear and uncertainty.
