Abstract

This article reviews the key aspects for the diagnosis and treatment of normopathic patients, illustrated by a series of clinical examples where a failure in connection with subjectivity and affective life is visible. It is detailed under the magnifying glass of contemporary psychoanalytic authors who explain the psychodynamic aspects with which these patients operate who cannot separate themselves from the desire of others to have their own desire. This condition is classified as narcissistic and therefore its functioning under the split, unlike the Oedipal conditions that operate under repression. Likewise, the way to carry out the treatment with these patients is detailed, who currently require modifications to the psychoanalytic technique.
