Sociability and identity around migrant women from Punta Alta

Internal migrations have been one of the phenomena that caracterice and contributed to the process of growth and concentration of the population in the province of Buenos Aires since the mid-twentieth century, with the naval base of Puerto Belgrano being one of the points of attraction for these flows. migratory. This article proposes to analyze, from the recovery of personal memories, the configuration of a circle of sociability around the women who migrated to the city of Punta Alta accompanying their husbands who entered the military base to work. The objective is to shed light on the condition of female migrants by identifying an identity link around their shared experiences.
