The numerical transformation of themisunderstood
Abstract
Faced with the uncertain future, the transformations in society and the psyche, it is evident that we are in the field of pathologies of the constitution of the continent, rather than of content. This is reported by daily disruptive events that are palpable as violence, pandemic, duels, insecurity and uncertainty.
It is the subjectivity that is immersed in an anguish that is twofold: the anguish of the claustrum (Meltzer, 1967) of being a prisoner of limits; and the reverse anguish, that of getting lost in the absence of references provided by those limits. Due to the above, contemporary psychoanalysis urges us to rethink how we think about these transformations and how we live on the edges of the psyche, it calls us to listen to these ruptures, to reflect on the psychic, family and social envelopes and continents that are currently vulnerable and wounded; where the skin is configured as a surface invested by multiple dimensions: the corporal, metaphorical and political. Numen that sinks its roots in the place of psychoanalysis in the face of these problems, thinking of it as a meeting place, like that “extremely thin membrane of a moment” López-Corvo y Morabito, 1978), where the analyst’s word has the power of skin, where it emerges the word as a sound and transforming envelope.
