Abstract

Teachers face stressful situations due to the COVID-19 pandemic; the burden of social expectations regarding their functions and an educational system poorly prepared to face the situation have impacted their work and their health. Therefore, this writing proposes selfcare in the mental, emotional, cognitive, social and spiritual dimensions as a creative and revolutionary banner that allows them to face the losses and consequent challenges of the pandemic, as well as to recognize their right to health and to demand its exercise.
