Abstract

This paper tackles the ontological status of Mauricio Beuchot’s philosophical thought by means of a dialogue between his Analogical Hermeneutics and Maurizio Ferraris’s New Realism. In addition, Beuchot’s epistemological position (moderate realism) is described through the analysis of the rhetorical devices of Analogical Hermeneutics. Finally, the anthropological scope of Analogical Hermeneutics is explored in light of Jean-Luc Marion’s Theory of Saturated Phenomena.
